This area is mostly for my friends & family. Photos were taken with a Kodak DC20 or a Kodak DC120 Zoom, scaled & in some cases color corrected.

Something I try to do is not center a subject in a photo. Unfortunately I forget to avoid this often enough to be annoying. Luckily, it sometimes results in a nice composition.
A lot of the photos on this page are from a trip down south of Market into the piers.

Between two piers on The Embarcadero.
Where is a tragic figure when you need one?

Shot out a window at 345 California building.
What I was looking at was that one little window on the left which was kind of lit up by the sun. Trying to make a nice picture with it resulted in this composition.
It was an accident, I swear!

Way way down south of Market (6th?) - a draw bridge mechanism.

South of Market piers.
Had to shoot his one through a chain link fence. Gotta love the fire boat there. Look at the decayed pier!

What a great find. Those wheels are actually on the tail ends of cement mixers.
